INITIAL CONSULTATION It is imperative that you have total confidence in us. We recommend that you start with an initial consultation so that you can discuss your needs and how we can help. COSMETIC DENTISTRY We offer all aspects of cosmetic dentistry, ranging from high quality crown and bridge work to advanced treatments such as custom shaded and finished crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers, inlays, implants and tooth coloured fillings and teeth whitening. DENTAL IMPLANTS Dental implants are a successful and permanent way of replacing a single tooth, several teeth or a full set of dentures, which are securely fixed into the jaw. Because of this, they function like natural teeth If you have missing teeth, or are currently wearing dentures, dental implants should be considered for a long term fixed solution. ENDODONTIC PRACTICE In addition to implants, we also provide endodontic treatment. This is commonly called Root Canal Treatment. In some cases, it is the only way to save a tooth from extraction. This procedure enjoys a 95% success rate. STERILISATION You have every right to expect complete safety whilst in our surgery. We therefore employ the highest standards of cross infection control – using a combination of methods – to ensure the surgery environment achieves clinical sterility. After every patient, all instruments are sterilized with the latest pressure sterilizer called an autoclave. All other surgical items are supplied pre-sterilized and are disposable. Cups, gloves and hand towels are used only once before being thrown away. NERVOUS PATIENTS We fully understand that some people are apprehensive about dental treatment and therefore we do what we can to help our patients feel relaxed, living up to our mandate of “Simply Proving Gentle Dentistry”. For our very anxious patients, we offer sedation which will make the treatment very comfortable for you and appear to be over before you can finish counting backwards from 10. EMERGENCY TREATMENT If you have an urgent dental problem, contact the office as soon as possible so that we can see you as soon as possible. We are committed to treating you within 24 hours or less for cases where you are experiencing pain FEES Our fees reflect the high standard of care we provide and we work with you to ensure you are completely satisfied with each procedure. We ask that the fee for examinations and routine visits should be paid for at the time of service. But for more extensive work we will be pleased to discuss financial arrangements. We accept Managers Cheques, Cash, Credit and Debit cards, e.g. Visa, Master cards and Linx payments. DENTAL HYGIENIST Our office hygienist is dedicated to long-term maintenance of the health of your gums and teeth. She is keen to promote better patient understanding of preventative techniques and will identify how well you are brushing and flossing as well as drawing attention to the areas which can be difficult to reach. If you have red or bleeding gums or bad breath, she would provide an invaluable regime – which, if adhered to will cure the problem. While the frequency of your visits will be determined by your individual needs, we recommend our patients see a hygienist at least three times a year for a professional clean and polish to prevent gum problems and tooth decay. For younger patients, we provide fissure sealants to prevent dental decay where necessary, and offer motivating advice for a healthy future. |
